Meat distribution
The meat from all our hunts is completely utilized and used by the local community, mostly to make biltong, the typical dried and spiced raw meat from the Southern African countries.
Especially with large game like Elephant, Hippo and Buffalo the sharing of the meat is always a huge happening!
Not a single piece of meat was wasted of the old daggaboy. Every effort was made to deliver the meat to one of the 6 zones in Dzoti Conservancy where the villagers were patiently waiting for their share. The zone representative oversees the meat distribution so everybody can get a piece. These young boys went sleeping with full stomachs that night. So glad we can make a change! Hunting is conservation!
